We were recently given a very special present which was one of Cecily Ann’s original drawings and can truly say it is utterly breathtaking!

The way she captured the iridescence of the bees wings is extraordinary and the vibrancy of colours and detail is remarkable. We had previously seen stunning animal artwork collection, including this particular piece with two bees busy at work on a flower head, and have been thrilled with the various items we’ve bought. We’ve always thought her work looked gorgeous but to compare the print with the original is impossible!

For my 70th birthday my work colleagues were scratching their heads to think of a gift - and then had the most wonderful idea of commissioning a portrait from Cecily of my beloved Golden Doodle dog Rosie.
